In 2021, at the invitation of the Taipei City Government, six brands of Mercuries F&B (Mercuries Food Chain, Napoli, DonMono, Tonkatsu, PIN CHUAN LAN, Mercuries Food Chain PLUS) jointly promoted charitable food with other industry partners. The upgraded Charitable Food Network 2.0 “Hope Canteen” is aimed to assist disadvantaged groups in meal voucher redemption. Customized packages have been designed for this campaign by taking into account the nutrition of disadvantaged people. The meal resources of “Vegetables for All” have also been integrated, catering to those who need a vegetable diet.
Mercuries F&B has 52 meal redemption restaurants in Taipei City. As of the end of 2023, Mercuries F&B provided more than 12,783 meals to the underprivileged, exercising the power of corporate care so that these people in need of help could enjoy a warm meal.
Taiwan Meal Sharing Association “Meal-Sharing Campaign”
During the pandemic, the “eFOOOD sharing map” organization received donated suspended meals and resources from the public. To distribute these donations and make financial flows open and transparent for the public, the “Taiwan Meal Sharing Association” was established. Through the care and concern of government agencies and local social welfare organizations, the organization provides “suspended meal” vouchers to the underprivileged to redeem for warm meals. By doing this, those who are truly in need can have warm food.
Mercuries F&B also joined the eFOOOD sharing map in 2022. We integrated 358 restaurants across Taiwan to provide local non-profit organizations with rich catering resources to share warmth with the underprivileged groups. As of the end of 2023, Mercuries F&B provided more than 3,743 meals. It is hoped that those we help will also help others in the future, thereby circulating love.

Mercuries F&B joined hands with EasyCard Corporation to support various topics of Taiwan Fund for Children and Families from “surrounded by love” and “poverty-free generation” to “freedom from poverty and self-sufficiency” through education enhancement, life stability, capability construction and emergency aid service projects. Through these projects, we are able to provide disadvantaged children and families with the educational and living resources they need as well as employment opportunities for youth and ethnic groups in need of care, so that they can help families overcome poverty with their own capabilities and gradually become self-sufficient.

Tonkatsu Teamed up With TFCF in “Protect Children With You” Donation Campaign
Tonkatsu, a Mercuries F&B restaurant, has always prided itself on its high value for money. Tonkatsu’s self-service bar with every set meal ordered is popular among customers. However, it also made us think about the plight of the underprivileged children, as they often lack the basic necessities, and even do not have enough food.
In October 2023, Tonkatsu teamed up with TFCF to organize the “Protect Children With You” charity campaign. During the campaign, consumers only needed to order a designated charitable meal set, and Tonkatsu donated NTD 20 to the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, which helps children in need. Mercuries F&B has been working with Alliance of Taiwan Foodbanks since 2017 to convert leftover food (such as instant food or fruits and vegetables with poor appearance) into “full foods” through a recycling and sorting process to provide for people in need and reduce food waste, while also meeting the environmental protection goals of energy saving and carbon reduction. In 2023, we donated more than 2,500 kilograms of food to the Chensenmei Social Welfare Foundation, providing more diverse and sufficient meals for the children in the foundation’s care.
